The 3mm thickness feels solid for a 50x50 piece, and it slots right into my filter holder without any fiddling. I’ve been shooting infrared landscapes with it all week, and the glass is optically clean—no weird hotspots or haze in the corners. Exactly what I needed for my full-spectrum setup.

I’m using this 50x50mm IR filter to isolate a narrow band of infrared light for a custom sensor project, and the 3mm thickness makes it easy to handle without worrying about breakage. It cuts visible light cleanly while letting the 760nm wavelength through exactly as expected.

Bought this to block visible light on a modified camera and it does exactly that, cutting everything below roughly 760nm. The 50 x 50mm square gives me plenty of room to mount it in my filter holder without vignetting.
