Fused Quartz Coverslip #No1

I needed a coverslip thin enough for high-resolution microscopy, and this 0.15mm fused quartz is perfect—it transmits UV light clearly and doesn't introduce autofluorescence. The edges are cleanly cut with no chipping, which made handling easier than I expected.

I was worried 0.15mm would be too fragile to handle, but these have held up fine through a few weeks of mounting samples. The quartz stays clear even after UV exposure, which is exactly why I switched from glass.

The 0.15mm thickness is perfect for my live-cell imaging work — thin enough that it doesn't add noticeable working distance on the objective. The surface is clean straight out of the box, no streaks or residue on the first few I pulled.
