Fused Quartz Coverslip #No5

I was pleasantly surprised by how clear this quartz coverslip is under the microscope—much less distortion than the standard glass ones. The 0.50mm thickness feels sturdy but still works perfectly with my oil immersion lens.

The 0.50mm thickness is exactly what I needed for my high-vacuum chamber work, and the optical clarity is noticeably better than standard glass. It handled the heat cycling without any issues.

I was worried the 0.50 mm thickness would feel too fragile, but these coverslips are surprisingly rigid and sit flat with zero wobble. The quartz stays crystal clear even after repeated cleaning, which has already saved me from swapping slides mid-experiment.
