Fused Quartz Coverslip #No5

Ordered these for a microscopy project needing precise optical clarity, and the 0.50mm thickness worked perfectly with my setup. The surface is impressively smooth without any visible defects. Exactly what I needed for consistent results.

The thickness is exactly 0.50mm as stated, which made handling them under the microscope much more straightforward than I expected. They're noticeably clearer than standard glass coverslips.

I was worried the 0.5mm slips would be too fragile for daily handling, but they've held up fine through several cleaning cycles. Optical clarity is noticeably better than the glass ones I used before.
