Schott RG830

Cut this filter to size for a custom microscope setup, and the 3mm thickness handled the glass cutter without chipping. It blocks everything below 830nm cleanly, which solved my IR pass-through issue perfectly.

The 3mm thickness gives this filter a nice solid feel, and it cuts off exactly where I needed it to for my NIR imaging setup. I’ve been using it for a week with no issues at all.

I needed something to block everything below 830nm for a small IR imaging setup, and this cuts off exactly where the spec sheet says. The 3mm thickness fit my filter holder without any shimming, which was a nice surprise. Transmission above the passband looks clean in my tests so far.
